Petri Power

No real updates so I just thought i'd post a pic of my cool Original Petri steering wheel that I acquired from Wayne Allman! This wheel would have originally been fitted to a coachbuilt Rometsch so its pretty rare!

I also own a pair of original Albert mirrors for the door hinge which again are pretty rare!

Beetle Update

Well there hasn't been much news to report on the progress of the '59 as we have been busy with Vintage Air and waiting for the garage to be built. We did however order a full set of mid-weight fibreglass wings from Day Mouldings and wee pick these up this weekend. We opted for the mid-weight ones as the bug will be occasionally street driven and the raceweight wings are a bit flimsy and could get damaged by stones etc easily. We've have heard really good reports about Day Mouldings wings so we're excited to see how they turn out! Pictures will follow once we have picked them up.

We have also just started to put together plans with our engine builder in the states so that should be ordered/built soon! 2332cc 51.5mm IDA's......... Nice!

Garage Build - Update 3

The garage base has now been finished and the garage is due to be built in 2.5 weeks time! We're really pleased with the results! As you can there was alot of concrete needed in order to build the base up due to the sloping garden!



Although a twist in the road has occured and we have now decided to place our house up for sale! Onwards and upwards as they say!
